New Blog, First Post

Hi everyone and welcome to my new blog! My name is Sammie and I am an aspiring makeup artist (and makeup junkie). I have been doing makeup for friends and family for almost 8 years now. Although I have been nagged by a few friends and my sister for years to start up a blog, I finally decided to cave in to their demands.

My blog will feature makeup hauls, skin care, reviews, pics of my makeup gigs and finally, some "selfies" of my personal makeup looks. I'm pretty shy about taking selfies but I hope to get over that and have the guts to record makeup tutorials. ;)

A few months ago, I unfortunately lost a good portion of the makeup I use for clients due to a poorly made train case (long story!). So I learned I need to invest in a good quality train case! Due to that situation, I recently went on a little shopping spree since I have a makeup trial with a good friend of mine later this afternoon:

RCMA sample foundation palette in Shinto, RCMA foundation thinner and RCMA no color powder.

NARS Guy Bourdin blush palette (Last Night Standing), NARS cream foundation in Stromboli, Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting spray and complexion primer, and NYX lip liners in nude beige, natural and pale pink.
