Surprisingly, these flower crowns were super easy (and cheap!) to make. I was able to buy most of the supplies at The Dollar Tree, minus the floral wire. Luckily, the florist at The Town and Country Market in Bainbridge Island, WA was cool enough to sell me a bundle for $3. The only thing I found difficult with this was figuring out how I wanted to place the flowers. Other than that, it was really easy to make thanks to this tutorial:

Since I will be camping out for Coachella, I most likely won't sport crazy makeup looks. I think dealing with the hot desert weather, mingling with people and listening to bands are more important than hauling around a big makeup stash. Anyways, since I haven't really messed around with my Coastal Scents 88 eyeshadow palette and blush palette, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to test it out. Here's how the look turned out with my flower crown:
Face:
RCMA
foundation (Shinto II)
Coasts
Scents blush palette
Eyes:
UD Potion
Primer (clear)
Coastal
Scents 88 Eye shadow Palette
**I don't
know the color names but I used a magenta shade (middle bottom of palette) in
the crease, yellow on the lid, a royals blue in the outer v and used a nude
shade (near the top left of palette) as a highlighter.
Eyeko
eyeliner (black)
Elf
Cosmetics brow duo set in medium brown
Lip:
Revlon
Lip Butter in Pink Truffle

Although Coachella (weekend 2) is 24 days away, my Hawaii trip is 15 days away! I have a lot to prepare for during these next 15 days. Stay tuned for updates on that trip.
